Una 3 December: World Disability Day was celebrated at National Career Service Centre Una for the disabled under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. In this, many types of activities like sports competition, painting competition and cultural programs were organized for the disabled. In this, all the disabled were made participants in various competitions according to their abilities. On this occasion, Samartian Dentcare Pvt. Ltd. Dehra distributed life care products manufactured by its company as gifts and arranged for refreshments to all the disabled.

On this occasion, Monu Kumar Sharma, Head of SBI Life Insurance Una and Parul Virdi, Director of R. Seti, wished the disabled people a bright future. Meanwhile, Suresh Airy from Aashray School Dehlan wished the disabled people a Happy World Disability Day and encouraged all institutions to unite and work for the welfare of the disabled. On this day, apart from crutches and tricycles, cotton wick making machines were provided to the dress making section of the centre. Members of the Pehal canteen were also honoured. Here, 6 disabled people are running their families by joining self-employment.
Assistant Director of the Center, Rajan Chakankati greeted all the guests and urged them to provide maximum employment opportunities to the disabled in their companies so that the disabled can become self-reliant. He thanked TVS Motors Pvt. Company, Nalagarh for providing employment to 28 disabled people recently.
On this occasion Upendra Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Shashi Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Gaurav Kumar, Hardeep Singh, Raj Kumar and Akash Kumar from R. Sethi were present from this centre.
