Chandigarh, August 31 - Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini today announced that keeping in view the convenience of farmers affected by the recent floods, waterlogging and heavy rains, the e-Shatipurti portal will be kept open till September 10, 2025. With this, farmers of 1402 villages of 12 districts will be able to register the crop damage suffered during Kharif 2025. As per the latest data received from the e-Shatipurti portal, a total of 38,286 farmers have registered their crop damage claims so far. The total area registered has reached 2,42,945.15 acres.

The e-Shatipurti portal for crop loss registration in Kharif 2025 was initially launched for 188 villages in 7 districts, including 21 in Rohtak, 85 in Hisar, 13 in Charkhi Dadri, 17 in Palwal, 2 in Sirsa, 43 in Bhiwani and 7 in Rewari. Later, its scope was expanded to 1402 villages in 12 districts. These include - Rohtak (41), Hisar (86), Charkhi Dadri (34), Palwal (59), Sirsa (6), Bhiwani (43), Rewari (7), Kurukshetra (75), Yamunanagar (600-all villages), Nuh (166), Fatehabad (21) and Jhajjar (264-all villages). Now all the affected farmers of these 12 districts will be able to register their claims on the portal by 10th September 2025.
The District Revenue Officer will verify the claims received through the portal as a special Girdawari. Based on these assessments, compensation will be provided to the farmers as per the prescribed norms. The spokesperson appealed to the farmers to take advantage of the extended time limit and register the crop damage as soon as possible.
He also clarified that under the norms of State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF), incidents of flood, waterlogging and heavy rainfall are eligible for claim registration on e-Shati Purti portal. After the claim is registered by the affected farmers, the revenue officers up to the level of Patwari, Kanungo, Circle Revenue Officer, DRO, SDO (C), Deputy Commissioner and Divisional Commissioner will assess the crop damage and initiate the process of releasing compensation.
