Movement of four-wheelers on Amb Chowk to Amb Railway Station route temporarily closed, alternative route will be used for traffic

Una, March 11 - Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Una Jatin Lal has issued orders and directed to temporarily close the traffic on Amb Chowk to Amb Railway Station route. This decision has been taken with the aim of completing the bridge construction work near Amb Chowk smoothly without any hindrance.

This decision has been taken with the aim of completing the bridge construction work near Amb Chowk smoothly without any hindrance.
As per the order, the movement of four-wheelers will be completely banned between Amb Chowk and Amb Railway Station from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm from March 12 to April 6, 2025 (24 days). All four-wheelers coming from Andora to Amb Chowk and Athwan to Amb Chowk will now be diverted through Pakka Paroh and Kalaruhi route.
The Deputy Commissioner has also directed that extensive publicity should be done through print and audio-video media to make the general public aware of this decision and traffic diversion signboards should be installed on the concerned routes in advance so that the drivers do not face any inconvenience.
The district administration has appealed to the people for cooperation during the construction work and asked them to use alternative routes so that the bridge construction work can be completed soon without any hindrance. Also, the Deputy Commissioner has clarified that if required in public interest, this permission can also be cancelled without any prior notice.
