Kharar, November 7: With the objective of imparting practical knowledge to the students of the Civil Engineering Department of the Local Government Polytechnic College Khooni Majra; Today, the sewage treatment plant under construction at Sector 115 and the sewage works in various colonies were studied.
Under the leadership of College Principal cum Additional Director Technical Education Rajeev Puri, Civil Engineering Department Officer-in-Charge Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal with the support of Rajan Builders made the students study the ongoing construction works. The site engineer Amjad and the college teacher Puneet informed the students about laying sewage pipes, construction of man holes and sewage treatment method.
 Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal said that our main aim is to enhance the technical knowledge of the students in the civil engineering department by improving their skills and making them fit for the industry.
