Nawanshahr - On the first day after the summer vacations ended, Ms. Ravinder Kaur District Education Officer (Elementary and Secondary) Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar along with her team conducted a surprise inspection of a total of 90 schools (primary, middle, high and senior secondary).
A total of 17 teams were formed for the surprise checking. Which included Rajesh Kumar Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary), Varinder Kumar Deputy District Education Officer (Primary) and 07 BNOs of 07 blocks (07 of Elementary and 07 of Secondary). Who conducted surprise checking of schools. During this inspection, the mission capacity of the schools, enrollment of students, mid-day meals, books, cleanliness of schools and other activities going on in the school were assessed.
During this checking, the school principals were informed about the deficiencies found in the schools and they were asked to remove these deficiencies as soon as possible. The school principals were also appreciated for the good efforts made in the schools. After this, the District Education Officer held a review meeting with the Deputy District Education Officer (Primary-Secondary) and all BNOs in the district office. In this meeting, discussions were held on how further improvements can be brought in the schools.
