Patiala, October 1 - As per the instructions of Adti Association Punjab President Vijay Kalra, New Grain Market Patiala President Richie Dakaala, Patron Devi Dayal Goyal, Chairman Mulk Raj Gupta and the entire Adti community have unanimously closed the Mandi indefinitely. It was announced to be closed from today. On this occasion, Richie Dakaala said that the state government is once again neglecting the Adti.
He said that the Adti community should be given 2.5 percent commission on the lines of Haryana. There should not be any kind of shortage in Adti. The burden of EPF should not be put on the Adtis. The situation is already very bad due to lack of facilities in the Mandis. The government is not paying any attention to these things and is not renovating the Mandis. Today, as per the instructions of Mandi Committee Secretary Prabhleen Cheema, a summons was given to Superintendent Vijaypal regarding the demands of the Adti community and the government was requested to fulfill the demands as soon as possible to save the Adti community from ruin.
On this occasion, Chiman Lal Dhakla, Gurnam Singh Lachkani, Rakesh Singla, Harbans Bansal, Randhir Chahal, Vikram Bhadwar, Vijay Garg, Harish Singla, Ram Bansal Dhakla, Bhim Bansal, Vikas Gupta, Narendra Lot, Sunil Goel, Ashu Modi, Jaipal Goel, Swarn Singh, Ramesh Kumar Bansal, Deepak Singla, Himanshu Bansal, Satpal Tohra and Gyan Tohra were present.
