Chandigarh Dr. Pragati Grover Memorial Charitable Trust (Regd.) Chandigarh, a voluntary organization that organizes social and service programs, and Market Welfare Association Sector 40D, organized a huge blood donation camp on Sunday. All the blood donors who donated blood in this camp were encouraged by BJP National Executive Member and Himachal Pradesh Co-incharge Sanjay Tandon, Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Rajinder Sharma, Ward No. 31 local councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty, former Mayor and councilor Anoop Kumar Gupta. 98 people were registered in the blood donation camp and 72 units of blood were donated. Regarding the program, the organization's chairman Sanjeev Grover, Market Welfare Association President Satish Kumar, Resident Welfare Association President Tarsem Sharma said that in making this blood donation camp a success, their entire market committee, PGI's blood donation department team, Resident Welfare Associations, as well as people from local and other areas also contributed by donating blood. For which they express special gratitude to all the people. For this noble cause, these organizations have been organizing blood donation camps on some special occasion for the past many years. Apart from this, medical camps, camps for free eye operations have also been organized.
