Sangranad Day was celebrated at the De-addiction Centre

Nawanshahr - Sankranti Day was celebrated today at Red Cross De-addiction Center Railway Road with the support of General Secretary Ratan Kumar Jain and Subhash Arora of Doaba Sewa Samiti Nawanshahr. On this occasion Bhai Lovepreet Singh, the narrator of Gurdwara Singh Sabha Nawanshahr, recited the twelfth month and prayed. He appealed to the patients admitted to the center to quit drugs by chanting God.

On this occasion, Ratan Kumar Jain, general secretary of Doaba Seva Samiti, while motivating the boys admitted to the center to give up drugs, said that drug addiction is a very bad habit, the addict himself is ruined. But this not only harms you but also your family and society! On this occasion, social worker Deshraj Bali and social worker Vasdev Pradesi appealed to all the patients to avoid bad company after discharge from the center. And urged to have determination in your mind to quit addiction!
On this occasion, Project Director of Red Cross De-addiction Centre, S. Chaman Singh ji said that efforts are made to make the patients admitted to this center drug-free. And the center arranges food and medicines for the patients. He said that so far hundreds of boys have given up drugs and are living a good life after receiving treatment from this center. Shri Subhash Arora inspired the patients to live a good life through songs. Manjit Singh, Manjot, Dinesh, Kamaljit Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Kamla Rani, Jaswinder etc were present on this occasion.
