Nawanshahr - The annual blood donation camp was organized at Gurdwara Anandsar Sahib in nearby village Mubarakpur by the team of Blood Center Nawanshahr in collaboration with the city residents and NRI heroes dedicated to Bhai Ghanaiya's Marham-Patti  Diwas. The camp was inaugurated with prayers.
On this occasion, Gurinder Singh Toor, JS Gidda and Dr. Ajay Bagga told the history of Bhai Ghanaiya Ji's blessings of Marham-Patti  and said that after hearing Bhai Ghanaiya Ji's supernatural reply in the court of the tenth Guru regarding the complaint of giving water to the injured soldiers of Guruji and the enemy soldiers, Guru Gobind Singh blessed the service of water as well as Marham-Patti. Therefore, organizing a blood donation camp to celebrate this holy day is a fitting tribute. A total of 50 blood donors donated blood in the camp. In this camp, father-son donated blood together who voluntarily donated blood for the 10th and 65th time respectively.
These are Upkar Yuva Club President Tanveer Singh Bharta and Social Service Master Narinder Singh Bharta. Organiser of the annual camp Joga Singh Sadhra arrived specially from America. He was accompanied by BDC Nawanshahr Gurinder Singh Toor, Jaspal Singh Gidda, BTO Dr Ajay Bagga, Manmeet Singh Manager, Gaurav Rana, Malkiyat Singh Saroa, Bhupinder Singh, Priyanka Kaushal, Dr Avtar Singh Denowal, Inderjit Singh, Mahendra Singh Pradhan Gurdwara The Sahib, Jaswinder Singh, Namdar Des Raj Bali, Satnam Singh, Kesar Singh, Amarjit Singh from Guru Ramdas Seva Society, Sukhwinder Singh Thandi, Bhupinder Singh Rana from Upkar Educational Welfare Society Garhshankar along with his colleagues Charanpreet Singh Ladi, Ashwini Rana, Comrade Darshan Singh Mattoo, Principal Bikar Singh, Amrik Dayal, Ravinder Singh, Charanjit Singh, Sukhdev Raj, Jyoti, Harman Singh, Sukhbir Singh, Rawal Singh and Mukesh Kahma. On this occasion, all the blood donors were honoured with special gifts and certificates.
