Una, September 23 - The Una district administration has honored Eklavya Kala Manch of IRBN Bangarh for its outstanding contribution in promoting voter awareness and participation through street plays under the SVEEP (Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation) program during the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal honored them with a certificate and memento on Monday and praised their excellent work.

Let us tell you, the artists of Eklavya Kala Manch of IRBN Bangarh contributed significantly in increasing the voting percentage by explaining the importance of vote to the people through street plays and slogans in all the five assembly constituencies of Una district. They made the local people aware and motivated to vote through slogans like the basis of democracy, vote should not be wasted, contribute to the development of the country, vote in any case. The awareness programs presented by them promoted extensive public relations among the voters and their participation in the voting process.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that folk art activities are very helpful in ensuring voter awareness and maximum voting. Direct connection with the people ensures wide dissemination and impact of the message. The artists of Eklavya Kala Manch have played a commendable role in making voters aware in Una district with their special contribution.
