Modi was addressing an election rally in favor of BJP candidates at the Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar. He said that BJP's promise to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir will be fulfilled.
He said, "The youth of Jammu and Kashmir is no longer helpless. Now he is getting stronger under Modi government. I am happy that Jammu and Kashmir BJP has made big announcements for youth empowerment, be it skill development or providing jobs without any manipulation, BJP will do everything.”
Attacking Congress, National Conference and PDP, he said that these three parties and families have 'cracked' democracy and Kashmirias for their own interests.
