Srinagar, September 19- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir has restored their faith in democracy and they are feeling that their vote can bring change. He said that this is the first step in the direction of their empowerment.
Modi was addressing an election rally in favor of BJP candidates at the Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar. He said that BJP's promise to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir will be fulfilled.
He said, "The youth of Jammu and Kashmir is no longer helpless. Now he is getting stronger under Modi government. I am happy that Jammu and Kashmir BJP has made big announcements for youth empowerment, be it skill development or providing jobs without any manipulation, BJP will do everything.”
Attacking Congress, National Conference and PDP, he said that these three parties and families have 'cracked' democracy and Kashmirias for their own interests.
