Una, September 18- Under the Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Act, 40 more villages have been brought under the purview of Una Special Area by expanding the Una Special Area. In this way, the number of revenue villages included in the Una Special Area has increased from 17 to 57 now. This information was given by Assistant Town Planner Una Pankaj Sharma. He said that the main objective of expanding the scope of Una Special Area is to control the unplanned construction going on in the villages and develop the area in a planned manner.
He said that in the included 40 revenue villages, no government institution, semi-government institution, private institution, local person can change the use of land of a particular area without the permission of the department. No registrar or sub-registrar can register the land of the included new revenue villages by purchasing, selling, gifting, transferring, leasing or transferring it as mortgage without the permission of the Town and Country Planning Department of Himachal Pradesh. No government, semi-government department, board, corporation and limited can issue electricity, water and sewerage connections to any type of new or old building without the permission of the Town and Country Planning Department of Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, if any person divides more than 500 square meters of land and constructs more than 8 apartments in the included new revenue villages, then he will have to get the map passed from the department and get it registered with RERA. Only after that the person can sell the plot or apartment.

The 40 more villages that have been included in the Una special area are Ko Airian, Dehlan Upperli, Bans Bonsare, Lamian, Bahdala, Basoli Upperli, Madanpur, Kotla Kalan Upperli, Ajnoli, Kotla Khurd, Ransari Upperli, Galua, Kuthar Khurd, Kuthar Kalan, Kuriala, Dangoli, Barnoh, Samur Kalan Awwal, Samur Kalan Doyam, Chatara Khas, Sunehra, Dangehra, Janakpur Khas, Janakpur Haar, Abada Barana, Bishan Nagar, Ramnagar, Lamlaihad Upperli, Lamlaihadri Lower, Chatara Upperla, Ransari Lower, Dehlan Lower, Basoli Lower, Kotla Kalan Lower, Sansala Nagar, Thakur Dwar, Kasba, Basal, Bhadolian Gugara and Barsada.
