PUCSC ELECTION WILL BE HELD ON 5.9.2024

Chandigarh August 23, 2024:- Students desirous of filing nomination for the P.U. Campus Students’ Council 2024-25 are advised to keep their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES (MATRICULATION/HIGHER SECONDARY FROM ANY INDIAN UNIVERSITY/BOARD/EQUIVALENT) ready for the verification of their date of birth.

Chandigarh August 23, 2024:- Students desirous of filing nomination for the P.U. Campus Students’ Council 2024-25 are advised to keep their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES (MATRICULATION/HIGHER SECONDARY FROM ANY INDIAN UNIVERSITY/BOARD/EQUIVALENT) ready for the verification of their date of birth.

No nomination will be entertained without the said mandatory certificate.

1.                  Code of Conduct is implemented today on the announcement of date of Election.

2.                  Printing material is not allowed w.e.f. today, including stickers on shirts/vehicles etc.

3.                  Fine will be imposed for using printed stickers/pamphlets and defacing the University/Government property. Action will be taken as per defacement act implemented in Union Territory, Chandigarh.

4.                  Photostat of handwritten material is also not allowed.

5.                  Cary Rally is not allowed.

6.                  Protests during election are not allowed.

7.                  Students should always carry their identity cards with them.

8.                  Classes must not be disturbed.

9.                  Procession and rallies, without prior permission of the DSW/Chandigarh Police, are not allowed.

10.              75% attendance is must for contesting candidates.

11.              Outsiders’ entry to the campus is not allowed.

12.              Use of loudspeakers and vehicles for the purpose of canvassing is strictly prohibited.

13.              Stay of visitors in the hostels during the elections is banned.

14.              Lyngdoh Committee recommendations are applicable in letter and spirit and a copy of the same may be obtained by the Students Organizations from the DSW Office.
