Demand to stop filling forms with astams from 50 rupees to 4 thousand
SAS Nagar, August 21 - A delegation of Mohali Astam Frosh Union SAS Nagar, led by the organization's president Mr. Balwinder Singh, met ADC Mohali Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke and handed over a demand letter to the Deputy Commissioner and demanded that permission be given not to fill the forms related to Astam paper ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 4000.
SAS Nagar, August 21 - A delegation of Mohali Astam Frosh Union SAS Nagar, led by the organization's president Mr. Balwinder Singh, met ADC Mohali Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke and handed over a demand letter to the Deputy Commissioner and demanded that permission be given not to fill the forms related to Astam paper ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 4000.
The letter states that the government had claimed to save 3500 crores of papers by stopping manual Astam paper. But now two to three papers are being wasted to get online Astam paper. The letter states that even the common or educated people coming to the tehsil have a lot of difficulty in filling the form to get Astam of Rs 50. And taking advantage of this, mischievous elements in the tehsil charge 10 to 50 rupees more for filling the same form. Due to which the common people are looted and to stop this loot, form ban is the need of the hour.
It is said in the letter that every person can take out Astam from the government from home, from Rs 50 to Rs 500. Whereas Astam sellers have to fill the form. Due to which both money and time of common people is wasted. It is said in the letter that whenever a person buys Astam from them or through them, the entry of that person is made on the site of Stock Holding Corporation of India and his register is also signed.
It is said in the letter that before the online Astam system, all the records were deposited in the HR office, but now their registers and forms are being deposited neither by Stockholding nor by HR office. Astam froshies also do not know how long these record registers and forms have to be maintained. It is demanded in the letter that all the forms that have been submitted so far should be allowed to be deposited in the HRC office.
Union press secretary Mr. Amarjeet Ratan said that the union has decided that if the government does not solve their problem by September 15, then from September 15, no Astam Astam Frosh will fill Astam related forms ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 4000. A large number of Astam Frosh were present on this occasion.
