Nawanshahr - At the local "Prakash Model Senior Secondary School", "Upkar Coordination Society" organized slogan writing competition to raise awareness against the evil of drugs under the chairmanship of the School's Manager Director Mr. Candy Sakhraj Singh. Gurcharan Singh Basiala, Principal Parvinder Singh Rana and Narinderpal Rita for the results of “Shout Writing”: Gagandeep Kaur was selected for the first position, Janian for the second position and Gurleen for the third position by the panel of judges based on the postmaster.
 All the three students belong to class X. On this occasion, President JS Gidda appealed to the students from Upkar Society to become awareness volunteers against the "evil of drugs". He said that despite many difficulties, human life is pleasant to live, it is very important to avoid drugs to appreciate the colors of life. General Secretary Ma: Narinder Singh Bharata gave a great message to the students to love themselves.
