Due to which he and his brother were admitted to the orphanage in Amritsar. Udham Singh passed tenth in 1917-18. After a while, his brother also died. Udham Singh was very much influenced by the activities of the Gadar Party and then he joined the Gadar Party. He himself saw the tragedy of Jallianwale Bagh incident on 13th April 1919 on Baisakhi day with his own eyes. And after seeing the bloody scene of that day, he vowed that he would go to his house and kill the culprit of this incident and avenge the death of the unarmed people.
This dream was fulfilled on March 13, 1940 and he was hanged on July 31, 1940 in Pattonville (London) Jail. He said that we need to bring changes in the system that is still going on in today's time and by bringing forward the thought of Shaheed Udham Singh about the time of slavery. Even today, millions of people are suffering from different kinds of hardships, today the youth should also be ready for such a struggle that can fulfill the dreams of martyrs if their thinking is accepted. Paying homage, he said that today we should read about the life struggle of Shaheed Udham Singh and other revolutionaries and put it into practice.
On this occasion Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur (Counselor) also shared her views and said that Shaheed Udham Singh had no mission for himself but had to be sacrificed for social change. He said that we should follow his teachings. After this Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur Counselor shared her thoughts and said that the purpose of celebrating this day is that we should implement the teachings given by them in life. Today evil is spreading its feet day by day.

Let's leave all this and go to the path of hard work We are asking for change sitting at home But we will not get the change by sitting at home but we will get it by leaving the house like Udham Singh.
