SAS Nagar, June 23- Mohali Police has busted a gang involved in loot-khoh and other crimes. Giving details, DSP City 2 Mr. Harsimran Singh Bal said that the persons of this gang were arrested under the special drive launched to control the negative elements on the directions of SSP Mr. Harmandeep Singh Hans, under the leadership of Inspector Amandeep Singh, the main officer of Sohana Police.
He said that a case was registered yesterday under Section 304, 3(5) of BHNS regarding mobile phone snatching on the statement of Meen Luhar, a resident of the sector. During investigation, investigating officer Havaldar Jugar Singh arrested Gurjeet Singh, resident of village Mauli Baidwan; Parwinder Singh, resident of Sector 67, Mohali; and Roshan Mandal, resident of Bihar.
He said that one motorcycle and three mobile phones have been recovered from these persons. The police have obtained his remand and he is being interrogated intensively.
