Baljinder Mann honored by Punjab Bhawan Surrey for his outstanding literary services

Mahilpur: Shiromani Punjabi Children's Literature writer Baljinder Mann, who has been playing an active role in the field of children's literature for the last three to four decades, was specially honored by Punjab Bhawan Surrey (Canada) and founder of Naviyan Kalman Ninth Udan, Mr. Sukhi Bath for his excellent services.

In his address, he said that our society has a special need for dedicated writers like Baljinder Mann, who lead the new generation and pave the way for success in the literary and social fields. He further said that with the continuous publication of Nikiya Karumbalan, the Punjabi language is being promoted and disseminated in the country and abroad.
With which children are connecting with their mother tongue and are also learning high values. His special contribution was also appreciated in the International Children's Writers Conference. Baljinder Mann was warmly welcomed by Project Incharge Unkar Singh Teje and Actress Baljit Sharma. Discussing the literary works of Baljinder Mann, he said that along with children's literature, he has made remarkable strides in the social, educational and sports world by creating 21 books, translating seven and editing 35.
Baljinder Mann presented a set of his books to the library of Punjab Bhawan Surrey. On this occasion, the distinguished writer Pradeep Raju was also honored. Satish Joda, Baljit Singh, Pradeep Singh Mauji, Bagga Singh Artist, Sukhman Singh, Harveer Mann, Harmanpreet Kaur and Pri Manjit Kaur along with literature lovers attended the honor ceremony.
