Hoshiarpur- Hawan was organized on the occasion of New Year in Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur. During this, MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, MLA Brahma Shankar Jimpa, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal and Mayor Surinder Kumar participated in the hawan and wished the city residents a Happy New Year and wished them peace and happiness.
MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that starting the New Year with such a spiritual and positive ceremony is a good sign. This ceremony is not only an inspiration for peace and happiness for the city residents but also reflects transparency and dedication in the work of the Municipal Corporation. The purpose of the hawan is not only a religious ceremony but it is an effort symbolizing collective strength and unity. Praising the employees and officers of the Municipal Corporation, he said that due to their continuous efforts, the city of Hoshiarpur is developing rapidly.
He assured that every possible support will be given from the Central Government and his side. MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa in his address said that such celebrations by the Municipal Corporation on the occasion of New Year not only have spiritual significance but also send a positive message to the society. Through this havan, a resolution is being taken that together we will make the city clean, beautiful and developed. He said that the development of Hoshiarpur is his top priority and for this the state government is continuously working in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation.
He appreciated the hard work and contribution of the employees and said that the sanitation workers and officers of the Municipal Corporation are the real heroes of the city, who work day and night to keep Hoshiarpur bright and organized. After the havan, MP Chabbewal and MLA Jimpa wished the employees and officers of the Municipal Corporation a Happy New Year and thanked them for their dedication and hard work. He appealed to all the city residents to play a leading role in cleanliness and development works and cooperate in making Hoshiarpur an ideal city.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Amandeep Kaur said that on this occasion, recognizing the contribution of sanitation workers and other employees, they were promoted. In this, 8 Safai Karamcharis were promoted as Safai Mate. 3 Safai Karamcharis were posted as temporary Safai Mate. 3 employees were promoted as Sanitary Supervisor. One employee was promoted to office post. MP Chabbewal and MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa handed over promotion letters to the promoted employees.
