MLA Kulwant Singh administered oath to people to stay away from drugs as part of the war against drugs campaign in villages Siau, Kurri, Kurra, Shekhan Mazra of Mohali.

Nagar June 04, 2025: The Punjab government led by Bhagwant Singh Mann has launched the war against drugs campaign to completely eliminate drugs from Punjab, under which Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh is conducting rallies against drugs in various villages of his constituency and people are being administered oath to stay away from drugs.

S.A.S. Nagar June 04, 2025: The Punjab government led by Bhagwant Singh Mann has launched the war against drugs campaign to completely eliminate drugs from Punjab, under which Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh is conducting rallies against drugs in various villages of his constituency and people are being administered oath to stay away from drugs.
Under this campaign, people were asked to stay away from the evil of drugs and completely eliminate drugs from Punjab by participating in the program organized in villages Siau, Kurri, Kurra, Shekhan Mazra on June 04, 2025.
Speaking on this occasion, the MLA said that the village panchayats and especially the youth and women are playing an important role in the war against drugs campaign and meaningful results of this campaign are also coming out. Because drugs have misled the youth of Punjab and the youth are not only ruining their future by getting stuck in the quagmire of drugs but are also losing their youth.
He also told that centers have been opened for the rehabilitation of the people trapped in drugs by treating them and getting them out of the addiction, where they are treated free of cost and are also given training to make them employable. He expressed hope that through the war against drugs campaign, Punjab will once again become a healthy Punjab and a colourful Punjab, because Punjab had gone into a period of darkness due to the previous governments not taking any concrete steps to eliminate drugs from Punjab. 
On this occasion, Rajandeep, wife of Rajinder Singh, Sarpanch of village Siyau, Nahar Singh, Sarpanch of village Kurri, Nirmal Singh, Kurri, Chhajja Singh, former Sarpanch of Kurri, Mukhtiar Singh, Sarpanch of Kurra, Gurpreet Singh, Block Coordinator of War Against Drugs Campaign, Gaganjot Kaur, wife of Satnam Singh, Sarpanch of village Shekhan Mazra, Jagtar Singh, Avtar Singh Mouli, RP Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Samana, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Jaspal Singh Mataur, Arun Goyal, Block President Harbinder Singh Saini, Gurpreet Singh Chahal, Vikram Singh, Tarlochan Mataur, Akbinder Singh Gosal, Sarpanch of village Tangori, Jagjit Singh, Gurjant Singh Pattan and a large number of villagers of these villages and people from the surrounding villages were present.
