The Additional District Election Officer visited the strong room and reviewed the maintenance of the voting machines and the security arrangements made.
Nawanshahr - Additional Deputy Commissioner Works Additional District Election Officer Rajeev Verma reviewed the arrangements to be made during the Lok Sabha Elections-2024 in terms of commissioning, maintenance and security of voting machines. Meanwhile, he said that arrangements are being made for the maintenance and security of the strong rooms constructed by the Assistant Returning Officers at their respective constituencies.

In this regard, he visited Doaba Polytechnic College Chhokar today where the voting machines of Constituency 47-Nawanshahr were being commissioned in the presence of Assistant Returning Officer Dr. Akshita Gupta. He stated that according to the instructions issued by the Election Commission of India, instructions have been issued regarding the compliance of all the rules keeping in mind the commissioning, maintenance and security of the voting machines.
