Haroli/Una, April 13 (Rajveer Chopra): A case of assault and criminal intimidation has been registered at the Haroli Police Station. According to reports, Vibhanshu Rana—a resident of Ward No. 03, Upper Vadhera, Tehsil Haroli, District Una—filed a formal complaint on April 13, 2026.
The complaint states that on the night of April 12, 2026, following the conclusion of the Haroli Festival, at approximately 11:30 PM, he was walking towards his parked vehicle in the parking lot along with his friend, Jatin. At that moment, Indra—a resident of Haroli—was engaged in an altercation with his friend, Harneet Singh, nearby.
When Vibhanshu Rana intervened to stop him, the accused blocked his path and physically assaulted both him and his friend, Abhishek. Furthermore, the accused issued death threats against them. Vibhanshu sustained injuries as a result of this assault.
The police have registered a case against the accused, Indra Singh, under various sections of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita), and an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
