Workshop on Mental Health Organized at the College
Ratia, February 3:- A successful workshop on the topic of "Mental Health" was organized at Khalsa Trishatabdi Government College, Ratia. The workshop was presided over by the college's acting principal, Dr. Virendra Kumar. In his address, he said that the objective of organizing this workshop was to increase awareness about mental health among students and teachers and to have meaningful discussions on topics such as lifestyle, success, peace, and personal development.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Ajit Kumar, who conducted it in a well-organized manner. Prof. Surendra and Prof. Kapil Dev were present as the main speakers at the program.
In his address, Prof. Surendra described mental health as the cornerstone of life and said that a balanced lifestyle, positive thinking, and self-discipline are the fundamental basis of mental peace. He encouraged the students to adopt stress management, time management, and a healthy daily routine.
Prof. Kapil Dev clarified the relationship between success and inner peace, explaining that only material achievements do not bring satisfaction in life, but mental balance and self-development are equally essential. He also said that continuous self-assessment and a positive attitude lead a person towards progress.
Students and teachers actively participated during the workshop. At the end of the program, a survey was also conducted to understand the participants' awareness, thoughts, and experiences regarding mental health.
This workshop proved to be extremely useful and inspiring for the students, giving them the motivation to understand the importance of mental health and bring positive changes in their lives.
The students also expressed their views on the successful organization of the program and expressed their desire to participate in similar awareness activities in the future. On this occasion, Prof. Pradeep Singh, Prof. Kirti, and other staff members were also present along with the students.
