Working to empower youth Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the BJP-led NDA government is working to empower the youth and the country's foreign policy is also being formulated keeping the interests of the youth in mind. In a recorded message at the 17th Job Fair, he said that India is the youngest country in the world and the strength of its youth is one of its greatest assets.
Modi said, "With faith and confidence, we are moving forward in every field. Our foreign policy is also being formulated keeping in mind the interests of India's youth. More attention is being paid to training and generating employment for the youth in our diplomatic negotiations and global agreements."
Appointment letters for more than 51,000 government jobs were handed over at the job fair. Modi said that more than 11 lakh recruitment letters have been issued so far through job fairs across the country. The Prime Minister said, "Empowering the youth is the top priority of the BJP-led NDA government."
He said that the recent reduction in GST rates has brought a major improvement in the country and its impact is much more than just increasing people's savings.
