Womens T20 India beat Sri Lanka by eight wickets

Visakhapatnam:- Indian women's cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on Sunday. She decided to bowl first in the first T20I of the five-match series against the Sri Lankan women's team.
Sri Lanka set India a target of 122 runs to win. Sri Lanka scored 121 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. India chased down Sri Lanka's 122 runs and achieved the winning target in 14.4 overs.
India's first wicket fell as Shifali Verma. She scored nine runs. India's second wicket fell as Smriti Mandhana. She scored 25 runs. Jemimah Rodrigues batted brilliantly for India and scored 69 runs.
