Women of Mohali Senior Citizens Association celebrated International Womens Day

Mohali- Women of MSCA celebrated Women's Day at Mohali Community Center Phase-7, Mohali in which about 160 men and women of the association participated. The program was conducted very well by Madam Avtar Kaur and Madam Promila Singh.
Giving information to the journalists, Secretary Public Relations of the association Harinder Pal Singh Harry said that Dr. Ashpi Aluna Dogra Gynecologist, Director Medstar Hospital TDI, Sector 117 attended as the chief guest.
On this occasion, fun games like tongue twister, quiz and surprise games were organized especially for men and gifts were given to the winners. Dance, Giddha and songs were presented by the women. Madam Surinder Kaur Kohli, Manpreet Kaur, Darshan Kaur, Savita Sharma presented songs. Madam Palwant Kaur Pali and her team performed Giddha. Vanita Dhaliwal and Mani Kang performed Bhangra and attracted everyone.
Madam Promila Singh performed a dance on the famous old Bollywood song Dum Maro Dum and captivated everyone.
Dr. Ashpi’s speech on women empowerment was very inspiring and fruitful. His speech captivated everyone. After this, Madam Manjit Kaur Jagdev, Madam Avtar Kaur, Madam Promila Singh, Niranjan Singh and the President of the Association, Brigadier Jagdev honored the chief guest with a presentation of a plant and a gift. Special women of MSCA were given gifts in return for their achievements. Brigadier J.S. Jagdev, the President, congratulated all the women on Women’s Day and thanked all the members for their support.
On this occasion, RP Singh Vig, Executive President, SS Bedi, General Secretary, Ravjot Singh, Chief Convener and the office bearers and members of the association were specially present. Niranjan Singh and Madam Promila Singh made special contributions in making the program a success. With the help of Secretary Guest Narinder Singh, packed lunch was served to each member. Overall, the program was very entertaining and wonderful. Which everyone enjoyed while dancing and jumping.
