Ambala, 18 August:- 62-year-old woman sitting outside her house late Monday night in Kajiwara area of Ambala city got bullet shot under suspicious circumstances. Bullet touched her leg and went out. In this incident she got seriously injured and she was immediately taken to civil hospital for treatment where doctors after checking told that bullet hit woman's thigh. Doctors gave her first aid and informed police about this matter.
During preliminary inquiry 62-year-old victim Santosh told police that she was sitting outside her house last night around 9:15 when she felt sudden sharp pain in leg. She saw that leg had injury. She did not realize at that time that she had got bullet shot. She has no idea from which direction bullet came or who fired it.
After getting information police team reached spot and started investigation of incident. Sadar police station incharge Sunita Dhaka said that police is checking CCTV footage from surrounding areas to determine direction of firing and to identify suspects. 
Through footage attempt is being made to find out from which direction bullet came and whether there was any suspicious vehicle or person nearby at that time. She told that matter is being investigated from every angle and truth will come out soon.
