White Coat Ceremony held at Adesh Medical College and Hospital
Ambala, December 14:- Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Mauhri, organized a White Coat Ceremony for the first year MBBS students. The solemn event formally inducted the medical students into the medical profession. A total of 250 graduating first year medical students donned the symbolic white coat and took the oath, reaffirming their commitment to ethical, compassionate medical practice.
More than 500 parents were present on the occasion, making the ceremony a memorable occasion for the students and their families. The students were administered the oath by Dr. Poonam and formally welcomed as future medical professionals.
Adesh Group Chairman Dr. HS Gill and Adesh Welfare Society General Secretary Kamaldeep Kaur blessed the students and wished them success in their academic and professional endeavors. Dr HS Gill emphasized the importance of humility and courtesy along with mastery in the art of medicine.
Gurfateh Singh Gill, Director, Adesh Group, guided the students on the important role of effective communication in medical practice. Dr Guntas Singh Gill, Director, AMCH Mauhri, presented an overview of the institution’s growth and vision for the future.
Principal Dr NS Lamba spoke on the importance of the white coat and the responsibilities and challenges that students face in their medical journey. An interactive session with parents was also held after the ceremony, which focused on the academic journey of their children and the rules governing campus life.
Principal Dr NS Lamba, along with the faculty members, addressed the queries of the parents in a constructive manner.
