Garhshankar:- Shri Kishore Chand Ji BPEO (Retd) died due to a brief illness. His body was handed over to PGI for research work by his family as per his wish. Later, his family presented a wheelchair in his memory for the convenience of patients at Civil Hospital Garhshankar.
Books were presented for libraries at Government Elementary School Garhshankar, Mount Carmel School Garhshankar and Government Elementary School Birampur. During the meeting at the hospital, schools and Rotary Eye Bank Unit, Principal Saroop Chand, Pensioner Leader Balwant Ram Social Welfare Society Punjab President Satish Kumar Soni and social worker Dr. Lakhwinder Kumar and Raju Brothers Welfare Society UK and Punjab Joginder Pal (Happy Sadhowal) provided full support.
