Karnal, December 7:- Rotary Club and Vaishya Bhavan Charitable Trust jointly organized a blood donation camp to help Thalassemia patients at Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan, Sector-8. More than hundred people donated blood in the camp.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest, District Governor of Rotary Club, Ravi Prakash said that blood cannot be made by any artificial means and blood donation does not cause weakness. By donating blood we can play an important role in saving someone's life. He honored the blood donors by wearing badges.
The program was presided over by Mayor Renu Vala Gupta. MC Sujata Arora and former councilor Mukesh Arora were present as special guests.
Trust President Shammi Bansal, Dr. PK Jain, Brij Garg, Narendra Goyal, Ashutosh Trikha, Dr. AK Sood, DD Sharma, Vikram Mittal, Kapil Kishore etc. were present. The guests were welcomed by Pradhan Gautam Jain.
