Patiala:- Gyan Jyoti Education Society (Regd.) Patiala organized a tribute ceremony on the occasion of the 87th martyrdom day of Shaheed Azam Sasardar Udham Singh Ji at Nehru Park Patiala under the leadership of Sasardar Upkar Singh Pradhan. On this occasion, the Mayor of the city, Mr. Kundan Gogia Ji, participated as the chief guest.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Harnek Dhot, Assistant Director (Retd.) Language Department, Punjab, welcomed the dignitaries and shed light on the life of Shaheed Udham Singh.
After that, the chief guest, Mr. Kundan Gogia Ji, while paying tribute, said that today we are breathing in freedom only because of those martyrs. Therefore, it is our moral duty to celebrate the days and occasions of those martyrs with great pomp. On this occasion, Principal Narinder Kaur, Dr. Tejinder Singh Teji, Tejinder Singh and Mohan Khanna also paid tribute to the martyr.
The entire program was organized by Mr. Deepak Kapoor and Mr. Mohan Khanna. ASI Tejinder Singh and Baldev Singh from Police Station Division No. 4 participated. On this occasion, Mrs. Jugrit Kaur, Lakhbir Singh Lakha, former councilor Madam Santosh Sharma, Gurinder Sandhu, Balwinder Kaur Sandhu, Mandeep Lehal, former councilor Meena Sharma, Pradeep Puri JE, Rajinder Vohra participated in a special way. Finally, everyone lit candles and paid tribute to the martyr.
