Wall of Sacrifices Stopped the Storm of Mughal Terror Dr Chauhan
Nilokheri/Karnal, December 27:- Bravery is not only in wielding weapons, but in remaining steadfast on the path of truth and righteousness. The lives of the Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji teach us that one should not compromise on one's principles even in the most difficult circumstances. This was stated by Dr. Virendra Singh Chauhan, Director of the Haryana Rural Development Institute.
He was addressing teachers and students at a program organized at Arya Vidyapeeth Senior Secondary School, Jamba, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas. The school principal, Jai Prakash Arya, and members of the management committee welcomed Dr. Chauhan with a bouquet of flowers and expressed their gratitude for his visit.
Dr. Virendra Singh Chauhan also extended his heartfelt greetings to everyone on the Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs. Dr. Chauhan said that if three generations of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's family had not erected a wall of sacrifice against Mughal terror and oppression, a large part of India would have been wiped clean of Indian culture. He said that millions of Indians are still indebted to Guru Gobind Singh, his Sahibzadas, and Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur, the protector of India. Dr. Chauhan said that it is the responsibility of teachers and parents to instill in students a sense of attachment and respect for their motherland.
Dr. Virendra Singh Chauhan said that Veer Bal Diwas is celebrated to commemorate the unparalleled martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs. This day reminds us that age is never a barrier in protecting the country, religion, and human values. He said that this day gives a message of courage, sacrifice, and self-respect to the coming generations.
He elaborated on the martyrdom of Sahibzada Ajit Singh, Sahibzada Jujhar Singh, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh, and Sahibzada Fateh Singh. He said that the younger Sahibzadas, instead of bowing down to tyranny and injustice, sacrificed their lives to protect their faith and truth. Their sacrifice at such a young age is an immortal saga in Indian history.
Dr. Chauhan said that bravery lies not only in wielding weapons but also in remaining steadfast on the path of truth and righteousness. The lives of the Sahibzadas teach us that one should not compromise on one's principles even in the most difficult circumstances. He said that these values strengthen the soul of India.
Dr. Chauhan urged the students to draw inspiration from the sacrifice of the brave children and imbibe discipline, courage, patriotism, and moral values in their lives. He said that only when the younger generation understands and draws inspiration from its glorious history will it be possible to build a strong and virtuous nation.
At the end of the program, the school family once again expressed their gratitude to the chief guest, and the students resolved to incorporate the messages associated with the sacrifice of the brave children into their lives.
