Voter card condition should be removed from Maawan Dhiya Satkar Yojana Baldev Bharti
Rahon:- Convener of National Labor Organization (NLO) Baldev Bharti State Awardee said that under the 'Mukhammantri Maawan Dhiya Satkar Yojana' of the Punjab Government, registration is being done in Anganwadi centers through Sakhi Satkar Mahila to provide financial assistance of Rs. 1000/- per month to women and girls of general and backward caste categories and Rs. 1500/- per month to women and girls of scheduled caste category.
For this registration, the beneficiary's Aadhaar card linked to the mobile phone, bank account on the voter card as per the details of the Aadhaar card and a certificate for scheduled castes are required. Baldev Bharti said that it is being claimed that the registration of this scheme is being done on a large scale, but thousands of families will not be able to take financial assistance from this scheme due to being deprived of this registration.
Because the details of their Aadhaar cards do not match the date of birth and names of the voter cards and their registration is not happening. Baldev Bharti also said that despite the best efforts of the beneficiaries, the correction in the voter cards is not happening because the work of making corrections in the voter card or making new voter cards has been stopped for more than 2 months. Apart from this, the Aadhaar cards of thousands of beneficiaries are also not updated. They are very disappointed due to the inconvenience they are facing. Baldev Bharti strongly demanded from the Punjab government that the additional condition of the voter card should be relaxed to solve this problem because this work can also be done with the number of the voter card with which the vote can be cast.
