Patiala:- As part of the series of Dharma Sammelans being organized across the country to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the sacrifice of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and the centenary of the establishment of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, a Vast Dharma Sammelan was organized by all the religious and social organizations of Pratap Nagar, Patiala. This Vast Dharma Sammelan was presided over by Shri Gobind Ram Seth, President, Shiv Mandir Committee, Pratap Nagar.
As the main speaker, Ravinder Singh Dhillon, President, Bhartiya Kisan Sangh Punjab, shared his views on the unparalleled martyrdom of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the 350th martyrdom year and shed light on the life of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, his unparalleled sacrifice for the protection of Shri Sanatan Dharma and his teachings. He also said that if Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur, Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das and Bhai Dayala had not sacrificed their lives and had embraced Islam out of fear of the cruel Mughals, we would not have been able to live our lives with freedom today.
And our ancestors would have either embraced Islam at that time or lost their lives. Speaking on the occasion, Cancer Specialist Dr. Vinod Ji Dangwal stressed on the importance of instilling good values ??in children and keeping the most important unit of society, the family, completely strong and instilling a sense of duty towards our Sanatan culture and heritage.
He also called upon all Indians to come forward to promote social harmony, protect the environment, adopt an indigenous lifestyle and fulfill their civic duties towards the country and society. He also stressed on the need to keep the air, water and environment clean and avoid plastic. During his address, Dr. Rajendra Kumar, District Chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, highlighted the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
And informed the audience about the commendable role of RSS, which has become the world's largest voluntary organization during the country's freedom movement, the partition of India and foreign invasions. He also provided detailed information about the commendable work being done at the national level by RSS-inspired organizations working in various fields of social life, such as Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Adhivikta Parishad, Seva Bharati, Vidya Bharati, and Vigyan Bharati.
Playing the role of stage director, international writer and educationist Anil Kumar Bharti said that it is very important for every person in the world to understand the true meaning of religion and their duties. Religion does not mean being attached to a particular method of worship. Shri Sanatan Vedic Hinduism is a religion that teaches us to live life in its true sense.
Sanatan Dharma preaches the sacred principles of "global brotherhood" and "the whole world is one family". To give practical and concrete form to this idea among the masses and to rekindle the spirit of fulfilling one's duties towards one's country, religion and society among all the countrymen, thousands of religious conferences are being organized across the country, this event is also a part of that sacred campaign.
