UPVirginity certificate sought from 8th class girl name crossed out on refusal

Uttar Pradesh- A madrassa in Pakbara area asked a girl for a virginity certificate. It is alleged that when she refused to give the certificate after getting her medical done, her name was crossed out and she was issued a TC. The madrassa also took her fees. The police have started an investigation based on the complaint of the girl's father.
A resident of Chandigarh recently filed a complaint with the SSP that his 13-year-old daughter studies in a madrassa located on Delhi Road in Lodhipur, Pakbara. According to the complainant, he got his daughter admitted to the madrassa in 7th class in 2024. He also collected Rs 35,000 for admission. This year, his daughter completed her 7th class and is about to enter 8th class.
According to the student's father, his wife had to go to her parents' house in Prayagraj. Due to food problems in his absence, his wife called her daughter from the madrassa on July 16, 2025. When his wife returned, she went to the madrassa to drop her off on August 21.
It is alleged that the admission in-charge and principal of the madrassa refused to admit her. They said that they would allow her admission only on getting a medical examination and providing a virginity certificate.
When the daughter refused to get a medical examination, citing her minor status, the madrassa officials got angry and started mistreating her. The madrassa issued a TC and handed it over to the student's mother, warning her not to return.
Despite repeated attempts to persuade them, the student was not admitted to the madrassa. Frustrated, the student's father complained to SSP Satpal Antil on October 14. The SSP has ordered the Pakbara SO to investigate. The police have started investigating the matter.
