Uproar Over Haryanvi Song Ratan Mann DeclaresInsult to Women Will Not Be Tolerated

Karnal/Chandigarh, March 6:- Ratan Mann, the State President of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Haryana), has launched a strong protest regarding the Haryanvi song 'Titihri,' sung by the renowned rapper and singer Badshah. The BKU State President, Ratan Mann, has submitted formal complaints against Badshah to the Chief Minister, Home Minister, Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, DGP, IG, and SP.
Expressing strong objection, Ratan Mann stated that the song employs highly indecent and offensive language directed at women, thereby hurting the dignity of women as well as the culture and society of Haryana. Ratan Mann noted that Haryana is renowned across the country for its rich culture, civilization, and the respect accorded to women; however, songs of this nature are misrepresenting the state's culture.
He specifically highlighted the lyric—"Aaya Badshah doli chadhane, in sabki ghodi banane" (Badshah has arrived to put them in the palanquin [for marriage], and to make 'horses' out of all of them)—as being extremely offensive, arguing that such language conveys a wrong message to society and exerts a negative influence on the youth.
He further pointed out that the music video for the song features a Haryana Roadways bus, which is government property. If this asset was utilized without proper authorization, it constitutes a violation of regulations and warrants an investigation.
Treating this matter with utmost seriousness, Ratan Mann has submitted a formal complaint to the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Karnal, demanding legal action against the singer, co-artists, music producers, and all other individuals responsible for the production of the song.
He has urged the police administration to register a First Information Report (FIR) under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and to take appropriate action in the matter.
Furthermore, he has demanded that necessary steps be taken to ensure the removal of this song from all digital platforms. Ratan Mann warned that if timely action is not taken against such offensive content, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Haryana) will be compelled to launch a large-scale agitation over this issue.
