Upgradation of hospitals will be done as per requirement Health Minister
Chandigarh, November 26 - Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that upgradation of hospitals will be done as per requirement across the state. The state government is trying to ensure that every person gets affordable and accessible health services near his/her home. She said that about Rs 40 crore 40 lakh has been sanctioned for the upgradation and construction of hospitals in Mahendragarh and Bahadurgarh.
The Health Minister said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the state government is continuously strengthening the infrastructure in the health sector and modern machines are being installed in the hospitals.
She said that in Mahendragarh district, a 50-bed hospital will be upgraded and converted into a 100-bed hospital. For this, a revised cost of Rs. 2301.01 lakh has been approved. Similarly, Rs. 17 crore 37 lakh 56,337 has been approved to complete the remaining work for the upgradation of Civil Hospital in Bahadurgarh. Arti Singh Rao said that he has directed the department that in the area where any health institution needs to be upgraded and is eligible, it should be upgraded as soon as possible so that the people can get convenience.
