University extends admission date till October 30

Mahilpur, October 16- Panjab University Chandigarh has extended the admission date for students who were deprived of admission in various courses under the session 2025-26 for some reason or the other, up to October 30 with the prescribed late fee. Welcoming this decision of the university, Dr. Parvinder Singh, Principal of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur said that this is a special opportunity for students who were deprived of admission in UG and PG courses in the college to get admission in this institution.
He said that there has been great enthusiasm among the students for admission in the college and by reaching the admission and counseling cells set up by the college in the surrounding villages and towns including the college campus, the students have got admission in various courses according to their career.
He said that from this session, B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology (three-year course) and Bachelor in Physical Education and Sports (three-year course) have also been recognized by the university and interested students can also take admission in these courses on the limited seats available.
He appealed to the students who were deprived of admission to come to the college before October 30 by paying the late fee fixed by the university and ensure their admission in their preferred course so that they can sit in the upcoming first semester. He appealed to the students to enter the college on time and attend the classes regularly.
