Union Defence Minister to inaugurate Haryana Pavilion at Brahmasarovar on November 24
Chandigarh, November 22 - Many eminent personalities of the country are participating in the International Gita Mahotsav being held in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the Haryana Pavilion prepared for the International Gita Mahotsav on November 24.
The next day, on November 25, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is arriving to participate in the Mahaarti. The faith among the people towards the International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav is increasing, this time more than 70 lakh people are expected to attend the Mahotsav.
An official spokesperson informed that the International Gita Mahotsav has been going on in Kurukshetra since November 15. Gita Jayanti celebrations are being organized in 50 countries with the support of the Ministry of External Affairs. This time Madhya Pradesh has been taken as the partner state.
He said that on November 24, a three-day International Gita Seminar will be inaugurated at Shrimat Bhagavad Gita Sadan Kurukshetra University. To make this festival big and memorable, the city is being decorated with lights. A cleanliness drive is being conducted in the entire city.
He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will attend the function organized in Jyotisar on November 25 on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. A huge pandal has been prepared in 155 acres located in Jyotisar.
About one and a half lakh devotees from all over the state are expected to attend this program. Harke Chowk of Kurukshetra is being prepared on the lines of Mahabharata. Now the work of installing lights to decorate all the temples of the city is being done.
