UK MP Bibi Preet Kaur Gill Pays Obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib

Amritsar, March 20:- Bibi Preet Kaur Gill, Member of Parliament (MP) for Birmingham, Edgbaston (UK), expressed her reverence for the Guru Sahib today by paying obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib. After offering her prayers, she also visited the office of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), where she met with the Shiromani Committee President, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.
On this occasion, Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami welcomed Bibi Preet Kaur Gill and, on behalf of the Shiromani Committee, honored her with a 'Siropa' (robe of honor)—a blessing from the Guru—and a golden replica of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.
Speaking on the occasion, Bibi Preet Kaur Gill thanked Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami for the honor bestowed upon her by the Shiromani Committee, stating that she considers herself fortunate to have had the opportunity to pay obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib. She remarked that Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib serves as a guiding light for all of humanity. She added that, having become an MP, she had come to offer her gratitude to the Guru Sahib and to perform an *Ardas* (prayer) for *Sarbat da Bhala* (the welfare of all). She shared that she had prayed at the Guru Sahib's feet for the normalization of the current war-like situations prevailing globally, and for the entire world to flourish in peace.
Present on this occasion were Shiromani Committee interim members S. Daljit Singh Bhinder and S. Mangwinder Singh Khaparkheri; members Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta, S. Ajmer Singh Khera, S. Pritpal Singh Pali, Bhai Ajab Singh Abhyasi, and Bibi Paramjit Kaur; Secretary S. Balwinder Singh Kahlwan; Private Secretary S. Shahbaz Singh; and Deputy Secretary S. Harbhajan Singh, the speaker, and other dignitaries were present.
