TwoDay Kirtan Samagam Held at Gurudwara Gadauri Sahib Kullu
Haroli/Una, June 15 (Rajveer Chopra): A two-day *Kirtan Samagam* (devotional musical gathering) was organized with deep reverence and devotion at Gurudwara Gadauri Sahib, Kullu—the historic *Tap Sthan* (meditation site) associated with Bhagwan Shri Chandra Maharaj Ji. The event was dedicated to the fourth death anniversary of Smt. Tara Devi Ji, the mother of Sant Swami Dayanand Maharaj Ji. On this occasion, the *Jatha* (group) led by Baba Kewal Singh Ji—the chief *Sevadar* of *Tap Sthan* Shri Khuralgarh Sahib—connected the congregation (*Sangat*) with *Gurbani* through soul-stirring *Kirtan*.
In his address, Baba Kewal Singh Ji remarked that while the word "Mother" is short, its glory and significance are immense. He stated that the debt owed to a mother can never be repaid in a lifetime. Paying homage to Mata Tara Devi Ji, he said she was blessed to have given birth to such a great saint, ascetic, and noble soul—Sant Dayanand—whose very name signifies compassion (*Daya*), and who is the embodiment of compassion itself. He offered countless salutations to Mata Tara Devi Ji.
On this occasion, various religious and social figures paid floral tributes to Mata Tara Devi Ji. Baba Naresh Singh Ji also offered floral tributes to her.
During the gathering, Sant Swami Dayanand Maharaj Ji expressed his gratitude to the assembled congregation. Meanwhile, Sant Baba Surjit Singh Ji 'Hiranwale' immersed the audience in spiritual bliss through his melodious *Kirtan*.
Many devotees and dignitaries were present on the occasion, including Baba Kewal Singh Ji, Sant Swami Dayanand Maharaj Ji, Sant Swami Premanand Ji Maharaj, Baba Naresh Singh Ji, Senior Vice President Makhan Singh Wahidpuri, Chaudhary Jeet Singh Bagwai, Baljinder Singh Bharauli, Baba Surjit Singh Ji, Deepak Singh, and ASI Satpal Singh.
