TwoDay Judo Qureshi Tournament Successfully Concludes at Cambridge International School Nakodar Rajesh Bagha

Jalandhar: The two-day District Jalandhar Qureshi Championship, organized under the aegis of the Qureshi Association, was successfully held at Cambridge International School, Nakodar. This was an open competition, with 10 different schools participating with great enthusiasm. The closing ceremony, held on December 23rd, began with a welcome address by the organizing committee.
The address highlighted the success of the two-day event and appreciated the efforts of the players, coaches, referees, and spectators. The importance of sports, which promotes confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship, was also emphasized. The chief guest congratulated the winners and encouraged them to continue participating in sports. During the prize distribution ceremony, medals, certificates, and trophies were presented to the winners and runners-up.
Present on the occasion were Rajesh Bagha, former Chairman of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission and Vice President of BJP Punjab, and Chief Patron of Pathway Global Alliance, National President of British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation (United Kingdom), and Senior Vice President of Jalandhar Qureshi Association (DJKA), Mrs. Geeta Verma (Press Secretary, DJKA), Sanjeev Sharma (Judo Coach, Sports Department, Jalandhar), Technical Secretary, Jalandhar, Davinder Kaler, Mr. Uday Sood, Mr. Arvind Chawla, Mr. Rajinder Kaku, Mr. Vishal Dheer, Dheeraj Wadhwa, Aman, and Mr. Kulwinder.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks. The closing ceremony of the first two-day District Jalandhar Qureshi Championship held at Cambridge International School, Nakodar, proved to be a memorable event.
