Una, November 1 – The two-day district-level sports competition organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) concluded successfully on Saturday at SSRVM Una (Sahodaya Complex). Deputy Commissioner Una, Jatin Lal, attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest.

During this two-day competition, 425 athletes from 10 CBSE-affiliated schools in the district showcased their talent in various sports competitions. Based on their outstanding performance, SSRVM Una won the overall trophy with a total of 37 points.
In his address, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal congratulated the organizers, teachers, and students for the successful conduct of the competition. He said that sports are an integral part of life, developing not only physical strength but also mental toughness and discipline. He urged students to take equal interest in sports along with their studies, as this is the foundation for building a balanced personality.
It is noteworthy that this competition was inaugurated on October 31 by Additional Superintendent of Police Surendra Sharma. During this two-day event, the players displayed enthusiasm, excitement, and sportsmanship, keeping the atmosphere energetic.

Winners in Sports Competitions
This two-day sports competition included Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Chess, Wrestling, and Parade competitions for boys and girls. SSRVM Una was the winner in the girls' Kabaddi competition, while SSRVM Naya Nangal was the runner-up. Among boys, SSRVM Naya Nangal was the winner and SSRVM Una was the runner-up.
Rudra International was the winner in the girls' Volleyball competition, while SSRVM Naya Nangal was the runner-up. Shanti International was the winner and SSRVM Una was the runner-up in the boys' Volleyball competition. SSRVM Una was the winner in the girls' Kho-Kho competition, while JS Wisdom was the runner-up.

In the boys' Kho-Kho competition, SSRVM Una was the winner and JS Wisdom was the runner-up. In the girls' wrestling competition, JS Wisdom was the winner, SSRVM was the runner-up, while in the boys' category, JS Wisdom was the winner and SSRVM Una was the runner-up. In the chess competition, SSRVM Una was the winner in the girls' category, Rudra International was the runner-up, while in the boys' category, JS Wisdom was the winner and Rockford was the runner-up. Furthermore, in the parade competition, NCC Cadets Una secured first place, SSRVM Naya Nangal secured second place, and Rudra International secured third place.
