Two members of a twowheeler theft gang arrested 7 stolen motorcycles recovered

Karnal, July 05- Achieving a major breakthrough in vehicle theft cases, the CIA Assandh team of the Karnal District Police has arrested two members of a gang and recovered seven stolen motorcycles from their possession.
The operation was conducted under the leadership of CIA Assandh In-charge Inspector Anil Kumar and the supervision of Head Constable Rajendra Kumar. The arrested individuals have been identified as Ajay Kumar (son of Mahendra Singh, resident of Rada village, Assandh police station area) and Saurabh (son of Bijendra, resident of Salwan village, Assandh police station area). A case regarding vehicle theft has been registered against both at the Assandh police station.
Acting on credible information, the police first arrested Ajay Kumar from the Assandh police station area. He was produced in court and remanded to police custody for three days. During intensive interrogation while on remand, the accused revealed the involvement of his accomplice, Saurabh, leading to the latter's arrest from Salwan village.
Based on the information provided by the two accused during interrogation, seven stolen motorcycles were recovered. Today, both accused were produced before the honorable court, which ordered them to be sent to judicial custody.
The Karnal District Police stated that a special campaign is continuously underway to effectively curb incidents of vehicle theft. The police have appealed to the public to immediately report any suspicious persons or activities so that crime can be effectively controlled.
