Chandigarh- Today a grand function and Kavi Darbar was organized by Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha Chandigarh in collaboration with Samvad Sahitik Manch Chandigarh. In this function, two children's books of President of Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha Chandigarh Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal (1) Aao Likhiye Takdeer Desh Di (Punjabi) and 2) Nanhe Man Di Badi Seekh (Hindi children's stories) were released. In the function, Shri Subhash Bhaskar Secretary Chandigarh Sahitya Academy participated as Chief Guest while the function was presided over by Shri K.K. Sharda President Freedom Fighter Association Chandigarh. Shri Prem Vij special guest, Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal author, Shri Raj Kumar Sahowalia former Deputy Secretary Punjab Government, Dr. Vinod Sharma famous journalist and litterateur were included in the presidium.
The function started with Jagtar Singh Jog singing a song written by Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal 'Sawan Aaya'. After that Principal Gosal introduced the guests, poets and litterateurs who came. After that, both children's books were released collectively by the presidium and then Shri Raj Kumar Sahowalia presented a paper on the first book in Punjabi and Dr. Vinod Kumar on the Hindi book and emphasized on taking the books to libraries and preserving them.
After this, a grand Kavi Darbar was organized in which renowned poets and litterateurs of Tricity participated, including owner of powerful voice Shri Darshan Tiuna, Jagtar Singh Jog, Balwinder Singh Dhillon, Dr. Panna Lal Mustafabadi, Bhupinder Singh Bhagomajaria, Ratan Babak Wala, Pratap Paras, Gurdaspuri, Mandeep Kaur Sohal, Satnam Singh Preet, Shri Prem Vij, Neelam Bachan, Teja Singh Thuha, Mandeep Nandpuri, K.K. Sharda, Dr. Sangeeta Sharma Kundra Geet, Prof. Kewaljit Kanwal, Ajaib Singh Aujla, Tarlochan Publishers, Balwinder Singh, Rajesh Kumar and others.
The stage secretary's service of the function was well performed by Dr. Sangeeta Sharma Kundra Geet and Chief Guest Shri Subhash Bhaskar, presiding Shri K.K. Sharda and Shri Prem Vij while congratulating Principal Gosal praised both children's books and called them a boon for children. In the end, Senior Vice President of the organization Jagtar Singh Jog thanked all the guests, poets and audience who came.
