Two cases of assault registered in Haroli both sides accused each other
Haroli/Una, April 9 (Rajveer Chopra):- Two separate cases of assault have been registered under Haroli police station on April 8, 2026, in which both the parties have made serious allegations against each other.
In the first case, Akhilesh, resident of Mohalla Bhaura Sahib, Anandpur Sahib (Punjab), lodged a complaint that on April 8, he was present at his book shop in Laluwal during the day. Meanwhile, Ram Singh resident of Dulaihar came inside the shop and assaulted him. According to the complaint, the accused also snatched Rs 10,800 from his pocket and damaged the shop.
On the other hand, Ram Singh, resident of Dulaihar, Tehsil Haroli, District Una, said in his complaint that he had gone to Vinayak Books located in Laluwal on April 8 to buy books. During this, an argument broke out regarding the shopkeeper charging more than the bill. It is alleged that the shopkeeper blocked his way and assaulted him.
In this regard, the police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) on the basis of complaints from both the parties. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.
