Karnal, February 20:- Karnal District Police has achieved significant success by arresting two accused in the ongoing vehicle theft case.
This action was carried out under the leadership of Sadar Bazaar Police Post in-charge Assistant Sub-Inspector Satish Kumar. The arrested accused have been identified as Manish, son of Sheeshpal, and Satish alias Deepak, residents of village Aungad, Karnal.
Providing details of the case, Post in-charge Assistant Sub-Inspector Satish Kumar stated that the complainant, Sahil, son of Suraj Bhan, reported the theft of his Mahindra pickup from the Old Grain Market, Karnal, on the evening of February 17, 2026. Based on the complaint, case number 115/2026 was registered at the City Police Station under relevant sections.
The police team acted swiftly, advanced the investigation based on credible evidence, and apprehended the accused in the Shergarh Island area of Kunjpura (Karnal). During interrogation, the stolen pickup truck was recovered from the possession of the accused.
Both accused were produced before the Honorable Court today and remanded to judicial custody.
