Trilingual Kavi Darbar to be held in Hoshiarpur on November 14th
Hoshiarpur: Under the guidance of the Director of the Languages ??Department, Government of Punjab, the office of the District Language Officer, Hoshiarpur, in collaboration with the Punjabi Vikas Manch Haryana and the Shri Guru Nanak Dev Educational Trust, Dallewal, is organizing a Trilingual Kavi Darbar to commemorate Punjabi Month.
The event will be held on Friday, November 14th, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Shri Guru Nanak College of Education, Dallewal. Dr. Jaswant Rai, Research Officer, District Language Office, Hoshiarpur, informed that the chief guest will be Ms. Ashika Jain, Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, while Professor Manoj Kapoor, Triple M School, Hoshiarpur, will be the special guest.
The poets participating in the program include Jasbir Singh Dhiman, Navtej Garhdiwala, Raghbir Singh Terkyana and Prof. Malkit Jodha from Punjabi language, Meenakshi Mannan, Anju V. Ratti, Inderjeet Chaudhary and Principal Timatni Ahluwalia from Hindi language, and Muhammad Ejaz Farooqui, Subhash Gupta Shafiq, Kamal Nain and Vikasdeep Musafir from Urdu language.
The Language Department will also organize a book exhibition on both November 13th and 14th. Literature lovers, scholars, teachers and language forums of schools and colleges of the region have been invited to participate in this exhibition, purchase books and enjoy literary activities.
