Training provided to newly recruited paralegal volunteers
Hoshiarpur:- As per the guidelines of District and Sessions Judge Hoshiarpur Rajinder Agarwal, CGM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Neeraj Goyal provided training to newly recruited para-legal volunteers in two sessions. During this, orientation program was provided in the first session and basic training was provided in the second session.
Apart from this, information was given about various schemes run by the authority and about the National Lok Adalat to be held on December 13, 2025. He said that in this Lok Adalat, pending and pre-litigation cases are heard, these cases are settled through an agreement between both the parties and there is no appeal against the decision taken in this Lok Adalat. This saves time and money.
In addition to the above, during the training, the newly recruited paralegal volunteers were given a detailed explanation about free legal aid services and NALSA schemes by Panel Advocates Renu and Rupika Thakur, Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defence Council, Hoshiarpur.
