Patiala- Regarding the International Disaster Prevention Week, training, exercises, mock drills are being conducted for the youth, employees, citizens of the world. Because in the future, natural, human disasters and wars can cause more destruction than diseases. Indians do not have training, exercises to save and neither are they trained in childhood and youth.
More than 80% of untrained people die during disasters and wars because of this, these ideas are being expressed by Disaster Management, Civil Defense, First Aid Trainer Shri Kaka Ram Verma while giving training to students and teachers to save and save during disasters during the International Disaster Management Awareness Week.
He said that in the future, disasters, fires, gas, electricity, petroleum, chemical, nuclear, atomic material accidents and wars can cause more havoc than diseases. He sent a request letter to the Deputy Commissioner Patiala, on which the DC has ordered the concerned officers to conduct training in disaster management, civil defense, first aid, fire safety.
To prevent and save from small or big disasters, accidents in domestic and commercial establishments, under the disaster management system, it is necessary to take the people of the area along with them in the villages, colonies, institutions, commercial establishments, train the members, conduct mock drills, reduce the loss of life and property in the future, rescue the victims, first aid, CPR, and extinguish the fires by forming 10 types of teams and conducting mock drills.
Like control room team, sounding the alarm, gathering at the assembly point, counting, rescuing trapped people, fire fighting, first aid, CPR, injured care team, police, ambulances, fire brigade, calling the administration and giving advance information to hospitals, prevention from thieves, team for making lists of victims, etc.
By making the citizens aware about disasters, wars, domestic incidents, etc. in colonies and other institutions, trainings, exercises and mock drills should be conducted by subject experts along with necessary equipment for everyone.
Kaka Ram Verma thanked Dr. Balvir Singh Health Minister and Dr. Preeti Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, and said that to face the challenges of the future, the youth and employees can be prepared to defend themselves and help the victims by conducting trainings, exercises, mock drills.
